The plan
How the day floats
Come for an hour or stay til the string lights are the only thing on. Here's the loose shape of it.
- 2:00 PM
Doors open, dive in
Show up in your suit, claim a floatie, and ease into the water. Towels and sunscreen on the patio.
- 4:00 PM
Grill fires up
Burgers, corn, and a frankly excessive amount of watermelon. Drinks stay cold in the cooler all day.
- 7:30 PM
Lights on, music up
Sun drops, the neon kicks in, and the pool turns into the dance floor. Cannonball contest is unofficial but real.
- Late
Slow fade
Last swim, leftovers, and lounging under the string lights until somebody decides it's a good idea to order tacos.
